Traveled by bus to get here from Caen. Sitting at a cafe drinking a blanche beer with Jacobi by the eiffel tower. All time moments occurring. Now drinking a bottle of chateau des maures smoking cigarettes in front of the eiffel tower. The sun is setting and the moon becoming illuminated. Many people are enjoying themselves. So lucky to be here. A moment of beauty.

Sitting hungover in saint chapelle, one of the most beautiful man made structures i have ever seen. Depicting stories of the bible from birth of christ, to the apocalypse. Stain glass windows 30 feet high pouring out the soul of the sun, creating beauty with reflection. The colors are beautiful. It's a shame I feel like I am going to pass out from being hungover, a sweaty mess. still , in the moment. You are here in a holy place, built from riches of past civilizations and kings. So much history before me. A ceiling of dark blue backdrop with golden stars. It's so nice when humans come together to make something so beautiful. And to preserve it, too. Start somewhere with an idea you believe in. there have to be beginnings, and you can fail. Human-made beauty is something within us all, the ability to create our own personal masterpieces. Religion has been such a contrast. The idea of heaven has invoked the highest levels of beauty, god within light, the divine. It also has closed us against each other, destroying this beauty, creating such lows. Today, I am thankful to see the beauty of what we as humans are capable of. What the “god” in all of us invokes out of us… Now sitting at a restaurant drinking espresso and eating duck. Couldnt venture into the escargot quite near to the hangover. Sitting a block away from the pantheon. Humans walk the street well dressed. Jeans, black pants, dressy looking. Black long sleeves, turtle necks, button up dress shirts. Vests, sweater on or draped over and around the neck. Travelers, as well locals. Me in my beanie, grateful dead crewneck, carhartt pants, and slip on vans. It's hard to justify spending on a brand, but maybe on ebay i will sell out, into it. It is nice to look good, feel good. People walk, cars move, art fades and is restored by those deemed worthy of restoration. And one day it will be the pigeons alone. Restoring their white shit on everything people built.

Spent the first part of the day waiting 3 hours in line for the Louvre. Worth it though. Got to see the Mona Lisa, which is greatly over exaggerated in our culture. It's beautiful and a great early representation of close to life like paintings. Cutting edge art…if that's a thing. Been eye opening to be able to see so much art throughout Europe. Mainly older paintings depicting scenes of Jesus. Young Jesus, being born, adoration. Jesus being crucified. Youth vs. old, pristine and hopefulness vs. aged/end of the road, innocence vs. experience. The emotions they evoke.. Hopefulness, he is there for you when no one else is, like not many were for him at the time of death. Those that were then died. Safety and comfort with him. His narrative has changed. Argument and turmoil in his name. War. It shouldn't be so problematic. His message is sound..but then so much war and immediate hatred. But then there's art. Inspiration. Subjected meaning. But its everywhere. Beautiful landscapes are the background. Now drinking a beer with people at the hostel. Australian and Estonian. Love meeting new people. Australian knows Big Lez. Story telling. Whats the meaning, message of the paintings of our lives. Rainy night. Not many thoughts.
